This artwork is called 'Sunset in Ulverston'.
The print features the wonderful Hoad monument - sometimes known as the 'Pepper Pot' which was built to commemorate Sir John Barrow. This landmark can be found in the North West of England in a town called Ulverston, Cumbria just on the outskirts of the Lake District. In Ulverston there are many beautifully painted coloured houses dotted around the town which provided a huge inspiration to me. I decided to put all of the coloured houses next to each other to bring pops of colour into the print. Situated at the bottom of Hoad Hill are rows of the terraced houses. Given it's mix of colours it would be a lovely addition to any gallery wall. This print has been drawn digitally and printed onto high quality fine art 350gsm paper.
