Titled "A run to the Hoad at twilight." this illustration was inspired by a group of runners wearing their head torches.
The story behind the artwork:
One evening, I noticed a cluster of bright lights twinkling on Hoad Hill, in Ulverston, Cumbria. There were around 30 runners gradually making their way down the hillside.
They were well equipped for the darker conditions, each wearing a head torch to illuminate the path ahead, which created a fun light display and as someone who enjoys a run myself, I couldn’t help but feel inspired by the spectacle.
Given it's mix of colours it would be a lovely addition to any gallery wall.
